Well, FWIW, I prefer 24/22, 13/11*, 6/4 (2). Making our 4-pt must be right and the hit has to be a good idea too but I don't see the need to make the 11-pt just now.  Moving up with 24/22 gives some flexibility and gets us moving, while ah_clem probably has only half a roll to play with.  Unless of course Diane rolls him a nice 33 - and you're not going to do that, are you?

I'd opt for the Herd's move - It's Blitz time, so bring another checker into the zone - no need to play defense yet.  "Hey Ho, let's go, shoot 'em in the back now."

Think this means the move the Herd chose was the best - FYI..I was with you  ;)
