might be obvious..but you can think about it..
I don't know that this is obvious. Hitting on the 17 is the "obvious" play, but deliberately falling behind in order to play a backgame might be better, and by abandoning the anchor on the two I have less chance to get a second anchor. That said, I lack the timing for a backgame and still have a good chance to win going forward. Ususally it's better to try to go forward if you can rather than play a backgame, so I'll go with the "obvious" play. But I'm far from sure it's right.
