I made the call on the tie in the Herds move...as the voting period had expired...so now you have this move.

Dont forget to warn me if you want me to pause for a cube at any time..

Lots of options but it's early days, neither board is scary yet, and I have a good anchor which means I can play for position rather than safety, and not be afraid to recycle a man. I'm going to discard:
  • anything that breaks the anchor,
  • anything that stacks another man on the already heavy 6 point,
  • anything that puts a man on the bar point, just too easy to hit.
I'm not even very keen on stacking the 8 or leaving a shot on the mid - I'd rather try to keep a flexible and connected position this early. 13/9 6/1* is clearly better than 13/8 6/2* (fewer return shots and a builder when missed), 6/2* 6/1* looks over-aggressive but might be good at DMP? I think I'll stick with 13/9 6/1*.
