Playing totally safe looks absolutely dire with no chance to close the 5 point and outfield control yielded, so I'm going to accept I'm leaving at least one indirect shot (53) in order to keep the position under control on Blue's 9 other entering numbers. The sensible options appear to be 21/9(2) and 21/9 21/15(2) - the first option leaves one back man to negotiate the outfield alone, but more gammoning chances and the loose hit duplicates the 3, while the second option might be easier to tidy up in the short term but leaves another hitting number (54) and makes a point I don't want to keep. Also on the first option, if the worst happens - I get hit and fail to hit back - there's always an anchor to re-make. 21/9(2)
