Yes, sorry - meant to mention that..That is exactly what happened, and I was pretty convinced you wouldnt do that  ;)

Not sure; 20/12 will be quite stripped if we have to hem a hit checker; thus I'd prefer going for an equal or closed board soon; thus I prefer 20/15 8/5.

There is no more useless spare than the spare on your anchor.  20/15 is mandatory.

Then it's a question of whether to keep moving or to do something to build the board. If we weren't one the verge of getting our only shot I'd slot the four point with 7/4,  but as next roll may be our only chance to hit a shot I don't want to  leave a return shot.  8/5 brings 3 builders to bear on both open points without leaving a direct shot from the bar and this looks better than simply playing the passive 15/12.

20/15 8/5.
