At first blush I laughed that you hadn't made my play for me (hit and cover).  Then I gave serious thought to the hit and 6/3.  Then I looked at all of the otherwise good rolls that would be bad if you an hot on my ace (or even just enter one checker and realized that my initial hit and cover play had to be best.  By making my bar at least all of my escaping numbers (6-x) play.

And your joker (4-4) and quasi-jokers (1-1 and 2-2) no longer are nearly as bad for me.

I think the reason I didnt make this move automatically, is that I was convinced you had rolled 1-1. I had done everything, but noticed when I came to add the board, that there was no roll...the only thing I can think is that I was tired and this is move 11  ;)

I then rolled and changed the board and the title without input from the brain  :laugh:
