Surely this has to be worth a punt? OK, we're on the bar but only against a two point board and we have a 55 pip lead. Meanwhile he has four juicy blots to have a go at. He'll still have a take but if we hesitate we'll soon lose our market.

I think I'd risk losing our market. This is one of those positions that can turn around in one roll. True, he has a 2 point board, but 2 of our checkers are dead and his are all live.
This can get very ugly in a hurry, for either side. The notorious Gaby Horowitz once said USE THE CUBE AS A WEAPON, NOT AS A GIFT. Which do you think a cube here would be ?
