Sorry for the delay....

I'll play bar/18.....  First, with checkers back minting the midpoint is typically a good idea.  Here I risk getting stuck back with 3 checkers.  If I don't get hit I hopefully anchor on the bar.  If I do get hit I'm a favorite (usually) to make the ace or deuce from the roof.
