Housekeeping note: I'm away for the weekend and won't be able to move the match along until Monday. If Z gets back to me in a few hours, I'll post the Herd's next move, otherwise it'll probably wait until Monday. I've posted a .sgf file, so if any of the other mods want to fill in for a move, be my guest.
13/12*/9, hitting must be correct I think with no really good alternative; then slotting the back of the prime, a checker that could also be useful as builder/attacker. I will have to manoeuvre carefully here as my backcheckers are difficult to escape.
