13-11 13-8...sometimes 24-22 with 2 but i am always afraid of those evil 5's .....however gammon go that might be the play....where you need a gammon and you invite contact right away

amazing how that first 2 is so critical at times...i was winning 8-3 in the quarter final in pittsburgh ...leading 8-3 in crawford match to 9....i played the standard 4-1 opening ....split and move down 13-9....well  that was my last roll  55, 6-4 3-1 and a host of other rolls i got gammoned ....then i get gammoned again next match...boom game over.....shout i have played my 4-1 13-8...well yes its called the gammon save....(maybe i am wrong somebody run it)...but he was gammon go so slotting and blitzing was only chance and slim as it was ...it worked and no hardware for your hero in the main

And that is why this game is both frustrating, and addictive!!   ;)
