ok so i make the 4 pt....8-4, 6-4.  let;s not even discuss the double hit....but if it went through your mind briefly....that's good.  it shows you are thinking outside the box (although if you made the double hit i would like you to be in the box!!).....((The box is another word for the chouette))

paul weaver and nack ballard, two of the top american players since time eternal, wrote a book called 3-1.  it discusses how to play 3-1 in all chapters of the game.  obvious you say... well for the most part yes ....but worth a look ...the next book 4-2 never made it to print...nor did 5-3, or any other combination ...

on the game note...arent you glad you didnt anchor on 1 point..i would be rubbing the cube after this roll. staying on ace pt is usually wrong in most early positions...and 3 on ace pt ....well you would trigger the big red siren....
