Title: A Question
Post by: jaso87 on July 24, 2006, 01:57:35 PM
I have a quick question...

When im playing someone on fibs and im on the bar it doesnt give me the option of either letting me go on what ever number i roll...

for instance: if im on the bar and i roll a 3 & 5 it will only allow me to go on the 5 but not the 3 even if its completly open! And ofcourse this is beginging to become an advantage to opponents as sometimes i cant take them off the board cause i can't come on the board on the number i want...

Also for some reason if im just playing i have to play one die before the next which is also frustraiting...

Can someone please help me out!

Thanks

Jase

Also give us a clue as to which interface you are using, and what computer - obviously clicking the other mouse button first isnt an option with a mac  ;)
Give us more info and we may be able to help.

I know that one.

It will automatically give you the higher roll first.

If you click on the dice it will switch and give you the lower number first.

You have a two button mouse for a mac??? - where did you get it - I want one!!!! :D

QuoteIf you click on the dice it will switch and give you the lower number first.

That is true of a lot of interfaces - but not all  :D which is why I asked what he has - the absolute answer comes when we have all the information  ;)

in java fibs the higher dice is played first , you can click on the dice and it will change it to lower dice .

or you can just manualy play your 3 then the 5 . but if you dbl click the mouse it will play the higher one.

unless like i said you click the dice and it will change it to lower first , you should be able to play both

:) is that why your rating is suffering diane

bhuwhahahahahaaaaaaaaaa

Use a bot and you won't have to worry about such details. Hell, a zero-button mouse would work.

diane: I went mac for my dgtrs' computer and she got a mouse with 2 buttons for it. The only thing she complains about is the missing scroll-wheel. I was under the impression that mac had been 2-button for some time now? Maybe an OS X thing, since most unices historically were 3-button based.
