Title: ALLOW to play in tournament
Post by: mhawk on February 08, 2011, 05:03:06 PM
How do I contact a TD for permission to ply in tournament with less than the require games?

The TD will make themselves known generally - either by shouting tournament details, or the bot will tell you if you tell Tourneybot 'tourney ####', where #### is the tournament number.  If you ask them, they may well help you - or, the easiest way is to get playing, so you have enough experience  ;)

The expereince limits are set for a reason, which is that playing in a tournament requires that you have a certain level of knowledge of your interface, how fibs works and how the bot works.  Play those games, watch the tournaments and learn...by the time you have racked up enough experience, you will find it much easier to take part in tournaments.

Check the tournament schedule too [accessible from the homepage here], that will give you more information.

I know sixtie and myself are happy to allow newbies as long as they have a good reputation with repbot, know their client, and Fibs, as diane said.  The tourneys link is here:

Hope to see you soon!  ;)
