Title: bots playing the same way i would
Post by: yappay on September 05, 2012, 02:42:47 PM
when i am playing bots on fibs i am losing about 15:1.
on the other hand i would almost always move like the bot if i would have been in his position with the same dices.
do i have a misconception? is that normal?

I doubt that the bots are making the same moves you would.  At least not all the time.

You indicate that you are analyzing your matches with gnu - that's good, it's one of the best ways to learn.  What kind of error rates are you seeing?  Unless it's "Supernatural"  you are doing something different than the bots.

in many cases - playing with a bot - the dices are that unfair that i can't even move or have to move forced moves. this means to met that i don't even have the change to play worse that the bot. the bots on the other hands almost never get stuck or forced moves - at lead non which wouldn't fit.

another thing - it seems that the bots never ever have a bad luck streak.

(to answer your question i get a gnu rating intermediate/advanced)
