Dammit.
The Thought Police have invaded the Library of Congress.
All PC usage is to be monitored. Unauthorized programs to be removed, web page visits to be logged, keystrokes counted...
So, I guess Resh and lot of other folks are going to get their wish - that I log off and get back to work.
Don't know when, but it's coming soon. Just had a meeting with my boss about it.
Since I tend to have a something approaching a life on my off-hours, I don't get to FIBS much except at my lunch break at work.
I dislike parlorplay as much as many of you, but only because it's such a crappy play experience. I won't be playing from there.
So, I guess this means I'm about to become a lot more scarce on FIBS, after so many thousands of matches.
Crap.
:(
Damn deuce, that's tough. Can't you make an argument that you should be able to use the web for entertainment during break time, etc.? What, indeed, will Resh_Lakish do without you? Something must be done.
mookie
Deuce, if they let employees do what they like at least during breaks at lunch hour, one would suggest that you can still make you daily match (as I usually do).
Should the problem be the removal of FIBS software, you can still use Java Applet to play with no resident software (that if you really dislike parlorplay, and your machine is not blocked on the telnet protocol...)
