May I draw the attention of Fibsters to the excellent online backgammon magazine Gammon Village? As well as current tournament news and expert articles on the game, a yearly subscription gets you access to a huge archive of back articles by Walter Trice, Bill Robertie, Jake Jacobs and numerous others, as well as hundreds of Snowie analysed matches by top players. At $50 a year, it is essential viewing for anybody who wants to improve their game IMO. Modesty forbids me to do more than mention the truly wonderful bi-weekly Dorbel's Gazette! I haven't been paid to write this, but like any prime resource, it is a question of use it or lose it. I strongly recommend www.gammonvillage.com to you.
Dorbel, please don't post any email adresses in the forum. People can reach you through the board and the people of Gammon Village can be reach through their websites.
Forums like these are often crawled for emailaddresses by spammers (it is called harvesting) so i don't think the person will like you posting his email address here.
Also i moved this post from announcements to General topics, since it is not really an announcement.. IMHO.
That subscribtion sounds good though.
Good thinking webrunner. Interested parties can of course go direct to www.gammonvillage.com or message me for Michael Strato's personal address.
