Title: MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS/NAMES
Post by: garp_02 on June 28, 2009, 09:39:42 PM
Is it allowed on FIBS to play with more than one username?

It is discouraged, but not policed, so many players do it.  Only if it is used for outright cheating - using one account to dump rating points to another for instance, will it be stopped.

I have a second one which is for playing bots only. That gives me a people rating and a bot rating, which I think is reasonable.

I confess I have many nicks on Fibs.  After 10 years, and socksey being so vocal, often, I just want to be anonymus and just play and concentrate on one person.     I would forget that I was using another nick and give myself away in shouts, so then I would create another nick and on and on.

One Valentine's Day, a bunch of us girls made up suggestive nicks just for the day for fun.   ;)

I've never cheated with any of my nicks, so noone has ever given me any flack for it.
