Hi everybody,

I'd like to ask you for nominate your favourites for the next fibsie award!

I nominate (once again) TOMAWAKY.
He started Fibsleague, http://fibsleagammon.free.fr/ (http://fibsleagammon.free.fr/) 20 October 2001 and it's leagues and tournaments have been going without a break all the time. There is 298 players now playing in Fibsleagues various events, so I think Tomawaky is the man to have this award now :jump2:

I'd like to nominate Joe Tamargo (before don does!)

I've only ever played Joe once (years back) but his relaxed attitude and obvious intellect made it a very pleasant experience. It's only recently , following his unfortunate loss of his leg , that I've discovered what a gamesmaster Joe is : Joe drew with Spassky once at chess and very nearly a second time before falling foul of a (typical) Spassky psycho gambit.

It wasn't Spassky Joe (nearly) tied with twice - it was that Fischer fellow.
