FIBS Board backgammon forum

I am a brand spankin' new FIBS user and tried playing a game today.  The first one went well but the second game there was a problem.  I couldn't acept/resign my opponents Double.  I think its my browser that may be blocking pop-ups.  Any body have any ideas?  

Also, does everybody's screen jump up and down when you are playing b/c of the dialogue box at the bottom.

I am sorry if this has been asked before but I have done some searching and couldn't find any posts on this.

Welcome to FIBs. There are probably close to a dozen different ways to coneect and play on fibs so we would need to know what interface you are using. The home page www.fibs.com has a list of all the clients so if you have trouble with one, maybe you can try alternates until you find something you like.
If you are happy with the one you are currently using, someone who is familiar with that client can help you with settings

If you're connecting to FIBS thru your browser and the java applet, it may well be the pop-up problem you described. Download a good, current GUI. JAVAFIBS seems to be the gui of choice these days.
