FIBS Board backgammon forum

A long shot probably....
There are several chess boards available that register moves and can transmit them to online servers.
Is it possible that someone has made a backgammon board that interfaces with FIBS?
I'd be very interested. I don't think making the board would be too difficult using magnets and microprocessor. No idea
how connecting to fibs would work though.
I get a sore wrist using a mouse, so I try not to use it often. The only other way I can think to play online not involving a mouse
would be some kind of hand held device.
Any ideas on any of the above?
I use a touch screen on my phone...
