There is nothing that differentiates a doubling cube from any other normal die except the numbers, and perhaps size. So why on earth are they so expensive? On average on ebay, they run $3.75 with a $1.87 shipping fee. Its one die!!!! I should be able to buy these for something near a quarter, not $5.00!!!

Does anyone know where I can get a few doubling cubes for a decent price?

That's outrageous for sure, but it looks like you found some on ebay anyway :)
What about home made ones ? They hardly need to be precision now, do they ? :dry:
I mostly rent doubling cubes, cause most of them come back to me in any case.
