What's the best way to open with 6-4 against someone 200 Elo weaker than you?

Hello.

I'm about 1800 Elo.

The only opening roll I don't know how to play is the 6-4 roll.

I'm hesitating a lot between 24/18, 13/9 and 8/2, 6/2.

My main opponent is about 200 Elo weaker than me.
So what do you think I should play against him: 24/18, 13/9 or 8/2, 6/2 ?

Is one move objectively stronger than the other?

The rollout is inconclusive, both moves seem to be approximately as good (within the margin of error).
But the rollout is 10 years old (January 2006).
Is there a more recent rollout of the 6-4 opening roll?

You would be far better off checking the score of the match first rather than your opponents elo.

At Gammon Go making the 2 point.
At Gammon Save running
At DMP Split

Having checked the score and decided you arent any of these 3

then the split maximizes contact and generally starts you off in a hitting exchange that may favour the player who is smart enough to consolidate assets and the race when the opportunity occurs.

When you run with 64 you get a simpler game when you don't get hit but when you do you start off behind in the race and and with less board development so you are at a double disadvantage when it fails.  It is however less of a gammonish game so certainly favours the Gammon Save plays.

So what you're telling me is that I should choose different move depending on the match situation:
- DMP
- GG
- GS
- the normal situation (when we're not in DMP, not in GG, and not in GS)
?

That seems like much more work than just memorizing one best move for each of the 15 first rolls...
