Two of our medal contenders won Bloody Mary medals last season -- yoyo was the BMSC V gold medal winner and sunray won the bronze.

Like last season, without TourneyBot's gentle nags and my threats of a timeout prompted and supported by TourneyBot clocks, the medalists had a hard time completing their matches. The Bloody Mary Season VI ended on 15-May. BMSC VI matches, open by invitation only to winners during season VI, began two weeks later on 30-May. The two brackets, both managed by TourneyBot, finished by 08-June, just 10 days after starting, with minimal need for TD intervention or decisions thanks to TourneyBot.

However, the medal rounds, best two out of three series between bracket winners and runnerups, were not managed by TourneyBot. It took another two weeks for the gold medal round to complete and yet another week for the bronze medal round. All matches were finished by 29-Jun-11, about six weeks after the end of the season.

Season VII is underway. With weekly registration continuing to hit new highs, it is getting harder and harder to win a Bloody Mary. If you haven't won one yet, join us any Sunday at 1500 UTC, 10 AM Texas time, for a chance to earn a ticket into BMSC VII

The 32 week Bloody Mary Season VI started Sunday, 10-Oct-2010. Winners of the 32 weekly tourneys will be invited to participate in the Bloody Mary Championship Series (BMCS VI). Winners of two or more tourneys will receive two entries. Winners of three or four tourneys will receive a first round bye or byes.

* TourneyBot standings stored for #3847 are incorrect. The Challonge bracket is correct up to the point where TourneyBot went off-line but is incomplete. The last two rounds of the tourney were finished manually while TourneyBot was off-line. DisraeliGears defeated jackdaddy in the finals with 30 players registered in the tourney.

** The Challonge results for #3996 are incomplete. The tourney finished normally and the TourneyBot standings are correct. While the final match ended in a TIMEOUT, the timeout was legitimate as one of the players apparently lost their connection during play (or maybe they needed a nap).
