This is rich.  Apparantly it is OK to edit my posts, then respond to something I didn't really write and close the topic.  I could select words from ANY post here, and deflect meaning, if only I could edit conflicting posts on a given thread.

I made a post starting a thread here, it was editted to suit someone's fancy creating a post I didn't make, then closed.  The last post before the thread was closed was from socksey.

I salute the censors of FIBSboard for their success in making everything look good to them.  I despise them for the twist they make after I made known my preference that my editted words be deleted.

How are you going to edit this?

don, you might have added that I sent you a personal email explaining why I edited your original post to exclude personal attacks and flaming which are not allowed here on fibsboard.com.

You may request that I delete the post by sending me a personal request by email.

What I understand is you (at least I think it's you) feel free to edit my posts and represent yourself as some kind of a saint while feeding flame material to other FIBSters -- based on your choice of my words instead my actual words.  In case you haven't figured it out, I say this is exactly the kind of intellectual dishonesty that is screwing up FIBS.  If you feel compelled to edit this post too, at least have the lack of courage to delete it instead of repsonding to what won't be my words after you are finished with your censorship.  You no longer have to worry about passing on private flame material.  There will be no further private communications between us.

I have requested that socksey either remove my original post on the topic she has got locked OR restore it to its original content.  She wants a private request from me to do so, and (I'm guessing) won't accept a public request just because she asked for a private one.

I am no longer making any private communications with socksey because I don't trust her to keep them private or edit them and pass them on for laughs to her favorite FIBS' flamer.

Webbie, I seriously doubt a significant percentage of those who see my censored remarks here have seen the real thing elsewhere.  I don't think it unreasonable to request that socksey either delete my words here OR restore them.  If you do a tour of FIBSboard you can easilly see that socksey has a habit of censoring me, but not those who flame me (frequently spontaneously, with not even a post FROM me on whatever thread).

Socksey, please either delete my post about my Dad or restore my original words.  (An admission, "giggle giggle", that you can't handle the concept of objectivity would be nice but I'm not requesting it.)

Why do you think that is?

Are you really sure that all the trpoubles you get in on Fibs and Fibsboartd are caused by others?

Perhaps I'm interjecting where it's not wanted, but I feel the need.

I've only been a mamber of these forums for three days... and I'm already sick of hearing Don whine.

Of course, I have to add that nobody seems to be doing anything about it except aggravate him further.  If he's that much of a pain, send him packing.  Otherwise, ignore him like you would any other troll.

The very last thing anyone should be doing is respond to him.  It only validates his continued existence here.

I've just had an extended conversation in shouts on FIBS.  It appears there is a mistaken impression regarding my post on a (now) locked topic in which my words were editted -- producing a post I never made.

Without naming any names, I want to say here that any posts on rec.games.backgammon which stole my identity via anonymous servers that lied about links between anyone in my immediate familay and the NAZI party were and are lies, and the first post came from a FIBS' user who had been using shouts at the time of the post to promulgate a racist philosophy.  This applies also to fake IDs set up on backgammon servers, including FIBS, using my name.

If you examine past posts on FIBSBoard, you will find examples of their flames and lies on this topic.

I am sorry that I have to make this post and I'm being careful to name no names in hopes that it will not be editted.  The fact is, all of these posts were aimed at my parents by a sick individual who won't give it up.  They are accepted as facts by a few FIBS' users, apparantly.  I'm pretty sure these users know the truth, but find some kind of sick amusement in flaming the reputation of someone who served his country in two wars because they can't handle it when his son quotes their own words back at them.

They do this because they can't handle it when I address them on other FIBS' issues.  They can't attack what I say so they make sick attacks on my family.
