Hi,

 I am an average player.. and I was playing this guy, I believe I dropped a game, assuming that I  did it on purpose, its unbeleavable that a guy with his "expertise" in the game would go to this extreme?!??!

ALSO all of a sudden I have maybe 15-20 people complaining to me that I have never even played.. and my reputation is destroyed.. what a guy huh?

Dont drop games.. it happens.. do I warrant abuse like this? Should 15-20 people I dont know give me a bad rating.. what can I do about these other people?

I don't talk about it that much, and it isn't all that visible, but I've been doing this for a very long time, and doing a fairly large amount of it.  (see also: ban on play between Italians.)

This is part of the reason that I despise RepBot so much.

Good to see that patti reads this and good to see that she deletes nuisance accounts. Question; if repBot is despicable, why not close its account? Another Question; what is happening with the ban on Italians playing each other? When entirely reputable Italian players like AramKhan are banned from playing other Italian nicks, it does seem to be operating in a rather arbitrary way. Thanks for fibs patti, still a fun place to be and many thanks to you for your work.

Patti, thank you for sharing your concerns with the running of Fibs with us here and for the doing of it.  It may make your job somewhat easier if people understand what you go through and perhaps ease up on the nuisance factors.

I, for one, love playing on Fibs best of anywhere, and hope that it continues forever.  Keep up the good work!  

Perhaps I should voice my concern for the Italians here also.  There are some very good ones    who are being hurt by the ban.  

I don't know what the answer is, but I would hate to see Repbot go until a better replacement is in place simply because, even considering the abuses, it has some merit for finding the droppers easily.  I would suggest that rather than have Patti  do all the cleanup work, that people look more closely at the bad reputations before making a decision not to play or bugging her about it.

The Repbot commands provide almost all the info anyone would want.  It's easy to see the bad reputation with the saved games number at the same time.  If the saved games don't seem excessive, then the reputation should be suspect.  If you look closer at the "list" (command is.....tell repbot list nick), you can usually determine if the reputation is legitimate or not if you know any of the players listed there.  This may not be so easy for a newbie to Fibs, but they can always ask a Fibs veteran.  At least, most of them are happy to help.

Before erase some nicks, Patti, ask people the true version of facts. First a week ago u erase Alphaomega, fcomm, NFLFAN, DelGado, and many others. Now i ask you a question. Why you dont erase burper?? All fibster knows that burper is alphaomega. I understant that u cant answer at this question................. Second why did u erase seranej for insult and u dont erase gobig for the same? What is the difference? Because we are italians? You belive really that annoyed_i_am is not gobig?  This racism versus italians produce alot of rage in Fibs.

The "true version of the facts", Marla, is that you have a long and distinguished history of being an egregious FIBS abuser.  I have warned you about your behavior in the past, cleaned up hundreds of your abusive accounts, blocked IP addresses, and done as much as I can to get you to either behave like a good FIBS citizen or get the hell off of the system.

It's *your* fault that players from Italy aren't allowed to play against each other.  You are personally responsible for making the system less pleasant for your countrymen.

I did not erase seranej for insults.  I erased that account because once again you were cheating and dropping, and abusing other players via repbot.

Once you've gotten to the point of being a chronic abuser, the rules are different for you.  You get closer scrutiny and no slack.  If you don't like that, shape up and prove that you can be a good FIBS citizen.

  the cause of all is that you do not want to believe and to accept that  an Italian player is so good to arrive to 1800 or 1900 with a little experience. you also know the player of which I speak and it you have always banned, you being able to control its games and knowing that he has not cheated. but you never admit that.that player is not I,i arrive to hard work to 1700 after 8000partite! he is a friend and I have suffered more from  every time that you have cancelled him that not when you have cancelled me.are you that do not allow  of being good citizens of fibs! you are prevented, unjust one. you allow to exist a droppers with 37 saved and you impose of resume 7 saved if not he were banned. you allow that he is insulted for a month from a player without to make null! I speak about those seranej that you have cancelled (like others times)and that has not never cheated and dropped, that has insulted because was insulted. that  had saved games because some player with 0 experience invited him and then  dropped him! you can see these things, but will not never say it. you are Patti and you can to do all.
