3DFIBS compatability windows xp & 98

I have no trouble connecting thru 3dfibs with my windows xp computer, but I can't seem to connect with my windows 98 laptop. Can anyone help? Thanks

when I click on connect with my 98 laptop, I get the following error message:

The program (3DFIBS) had performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If problem persists contact the program vendor.

i can't get beyond this point...

I know 3DFibs is especially compatible with Windows 9x. TucsonAZ even creates and tests it on a Windows 95 machine!
I myself have run it on all Windows flavours and it always runs like a dream.
That tells me spomething else is wrong...
Could you give us some more information on the error you are getting?

I upgraded my browser & the problem went away...thanks to those that tried to help...
