The machine I use to run TourneyBot and some of the GammonBots is running at it's limits.

What I currently have is a AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3400+ running at 2.2Ghz (single core) with 2GB RAM

I am hoping that someone may have an old system that they'd be willing to donate to the cause.
I only need the Motherboard/CPU, but most people have them in a case already...

The biggest thing is support for additional memory, I'd add memory to mine but it can't take any more.
I'd love to be able to run with 4 or 8gb.

If it ends up being Dual or Quad core that would be great!

I have a Disk I can use, so if you have a system with a crashed disk that you upgraded, that works too!

I would offer help - but sending anything from Australia seems a bit labour intensive. However, if you get no other offers, we can talk and see if I have anything in the machine I upgraded from in Jan that would help you.

Is there any way to take a couple of gammonbots off for the time being, until you get a donation? Would that help?

The bot was running very badly tonight, response times were very very slow...that meant at least two people who tried to register close to the end of registration could not - and the replies came about 10 minutes later, to tell them the tournament had already started and they could not register

True, shipping is a cost to consider (we have a Flat Rate option, up to 20lbs if it fits in their box for $45 - worldwide, $11 inside US)

I wonder if the Australian Post has a similar shipping option.

Yeah, about the bot, I left something running when I went to sleep that I should have killed.

Things are running ok (when I don't do dumb things) but I can't add anything new.
I do have an alternate site for GB's but want more independence...
