Quotedamn socksey.... ya need glasses darling...!!

Maybe Segal just isn't your type, Shades.   :P   He's a big man.  So was my dad.  I guess that influences me.  I also admire his art.

how about it Diane, not even one tiny little picture of you ??

do you perhaps think that your soul will be stolen when you are photographed ?

Ask anyone, not a chance  :P
I used to state that, when I was younger and refusing to have my picture taken (threw some fairly impressive tantrums - and my family have lotsa pics of my hands, the back of my head etc  :D ).  Later in life I have decided it is kinda the opposite - I have never seen a picture that, in my opinion captures any of the essence of me!

OK, another Dutch saying: "Grote mannen, kleine jannen !" ... which roughly translates to: "Big men, little dicks !" ;-))

Although I must say that his ex, the lovely Kelly LeBrock, sort of advertised Steven's supposedly large organ by saying the immortal words in the movie "Hard To Kill", while sighing deeply: "You've got such a lot to live for !!" (when lifting the sheets off her comatose patient, played by her then husband, Steven Seagal)
Perhaps her words were not written into the script by him, the producer, at all, but is he the exception to the rule ?

QuoteAsk anyone, not a chance .... I have never seen a picture that, in my opinion captures any of the essence of me!

Well, OK, I guess I will have to come to the FIBS gathering after all, to see you "in the flesh" ?! How about a long one-on-one-unlimited-allnighter in my room at the Holiday Inn Docklands ? ;-)

Just went out and bought a Sony DRU-700A Double Layer +/-RW DVD burner to replace the dead DVD player ...... figured I deserved a present. ;-)

So pretty soon, I will be able to let my postings be accompanied again by those wonderfull captures from "Under Siege".

I should rename this thread to: I'm tripleX and this is my life.

Why do you think anyone cares what dvd-burner you bought?

True, it is rather "different" to have my own column .. ehm .. thread for a change.
And let's not forget my honorable mention on the frontpage .. ehm .. homepage !!

QuoteWhy do you think anyone cares what dvd-burner you bought?

Well, obviously you do ... or you wouldn't have mentioned it, right ?

Want a tip ? They are on sale at "Mediamarkt" for only € 99,-, so you see, jealousy is really not necessary ... just like your remarks in this or your last posting, like I said, they show more of the sender than of the recipient.

I think Triple XXX is one of the best things to happen to fibsboard.  I log in everyday just to see what new and interesting things he has to say.  It is the same part of my brain that needs to watch train wrecks, car crashes, etc.

Thanks Triple_X but i can get it a lot cheaper then that.
And.. we already have one.. so why should i be jealous?

But thanks for the tip anyway, i know you mean well.

I think this is just not the place to post information like that. Tech-board is a better place for that. That is a forum which i am just starting. There is also a Dutch version.

Hmm, did a little recon there, all far too technical for me, I think I will stick with PC-Idee,  I seem to hardly understand that.

But I do understand that we both prefer the same browser ..... pure coincidence

Oh yes, why are you posting/advertising there about FIBSboard, if it's specifically meant for technical stuff ? ;-))

If I come across anymore PC-Idee readers, I'll point them to your new site ...

Dude, you really need to get out more.  Watching Steven Segal movies and the Start Trek ripoffs are starting to rot your brain.  (Although 7 of 9 is pretty hot!)

QuoteWatching Steven Segal movies and the Start Trek ripoffs are starting to rot your brain. (Although 7 of 9 is pretty hot!)

I can't help it WinePort, I was assimilated by Seven years ago ....
My computer starts up with: "Calibration is locked and normal, diagnostic underway ... diagnostic complete, sensors are functioning normally" and shuts down with: "Autoshutdown sequence in progress" ... intrusion attempts of my system are announced with: "Automatic defence procedures initiated", followed by an automatic reboot in "attack mode" from the nano-improved Mandrake partition, flooding the purpitrator's IP with random data, hell, she is everywhere, see added screenshot of my desktop ......

My XP Pro partition is even called 7 of 9 ..... although she was pretty perfect, she had her flaws (only 9 made of that prototype) ... well, the  Mandrake partition of my multiboot system is therefore called 1 of trillion .... it was so good, trillions were made in my image ;-))

What that is concerned, you are sooooo right, I once (before Seven) had a wonderfull life, see attached pic of one of my ex-"acquaintances", from when she was still a chickie, walking around in the streets of The Hague, my hometown.

Seven is just soooo jealous, I try to tell her that looks aren't everything, but hell, you know women, I guess !! ;-))

Triple XXX "The Movie" - Script

Scene 1

Dark dock on a quarter moon night.  Our hero, Triple XXX, scales the side of a large rusting ship (a la The Usual Suspects), is creeping around on deck when discovered by "seaman" (played by Anakin).

[Triple XXX] - There I go.

(Gun fire erupts as Triple XXX kills all the seaman in a gun battle that last for 90 minutes.)

The end.

QuoteTriple XXX "The Movie" - Script

<<<high time for some political news broadcast>>>

ROME - Oriana Fallaci, the Italian journalist known for ruthlessly grilling her subjects, says she detests interviews but has granted one herself ââ,¬â€ to herself ââ,¬â€ because she is dying of cancer.

The Milan daily Corriere della Sera published the slim volume, ââ,¬Å"Oriana Fallaci Interviews Oriana Fallaci,ââ,¬Â as a supplement to its newspaper Friday.

In the work, Fallaci, 74, asks herself why she agreed to the interview.

ââ,¬Å"Because death is on my back. Medicine has issued the sentence: ââ,¬ËœLady, you cannot get better. You wonââ,¬â,,¢t get better,ââ,¬ÂÃ¢â,¬â,,¢ is the reply.

Fallaciââ,¬â,,¢s battle with cancer began some 11 years ago. In the early 1990s, she had surgery for breast cancer. Her latest work indicates that cancer has recurred.

ââ,¬Å"I had a tremendous pain in my lungs and in my trachea and in my esophagus, where the Alien has made his nest,ââ,¬Â she says of her recent ailments.

Sept. 11 attacks a turning point

Fallaci writes that she stopped taking care of herself, including having medical tests and seeing oncologists, on Sept. 11, 2001, the day of the terror attacks against the United States.

She said she needed to spend all her time writing and translating two books that have since been published and which, in her typically blunt style, reflect scathingly on society, including the differences between Christian and Islamic culture.

The second of the two, ââ,¬Å"The Strength of Reason,ââ,¬Â came out this spring. In it, Fallaci accuses the Roman Catholic Church of being too weak before the Muslim world, and Europe of selling itself to Islam ââ,¬Å"like a prostitute.ââ,¬Â

Two years earlier, her best-selling essay ââ,¬Å"The Rage and The Prideââ,¬Â drew accusations that Fallaci was inciting hatred against Muslims.

Fallaci, a former war correspondent, says, ââ,¬Å"The West, Europe, Italy, is sicker than I am.ââ,¬Â

Triple_X

"I find it shameful that they are on the side of the very ones who inaugurated terrorism, killing us on airplanes, in airports, at the Olympics, and who today entertain themselves by killing western journalists. By shooting them, abducting them, cutting their throats, decapitating them. Thereââ,¬â,,¢s someone in Italy who, since the appearance of "Anger and Pride", would like to do the same to me. Citing verses of the Koran he exorts his ââ,¬Å"brothersââ,¬Â in the mosques and the Islamic Community to chastise me in the name of Allah. To kill me. Or rather to die with me. Since heââ,¬â,,¢s someone who speaks English well, Iââ,¬â,,¢ll respond to him in English: ââ,¬Å"F...  You !!ââ,¬Â

(Oriana Fallaci)

so the excuse the Iranian "champ" used was his overweight ... just as cowardly as Nihilist's excuse: my shouted gloating. Yeah right, I will quietly and "modestly" not express myself AT ALL ?!? ....... sorry, like I said before, I don't believe in false modesty, I leave that to the hypocrites of this world.
Christianity is often called very hypocritical ... so knowing that is realising that Nihilist is no more than a product of his time ... well, I'm for sure not the type that turns the other cheek ... I much prefer the other biblical attitude of an eye for an eye. I do fight fire with fire ... only my fire is a "little" more intense and sometimes all-consuming.
(see attached pic)

Perhaps I should change sides, step back and watch islam conquer the world.
It would be rather "fun" to know that all these leftist bleeding heart liberals condamn their granddaughters to obligatory wearing a rag and having a very abusive "brave" husband, whose behavious is condoned by the imam. Hell, they might even keep their clitoris ... although ?!

I shall be laughing my head off from my grave far into the 23rd century.

So by all means people, vote for that leftist flip-flop "warhero" Kerry ... be gone with that hypocritical christianity and in doing so vote indirectly for Osama Bin Laden.
