I just wanna say good bye to all my FRIENDS i,ve found in the time i played on Fibs.But now its time for me to leave. There are to many rassists , or stupid people who dont now what they talking, there in last time.
No wonder the hole world is in trouble,if its not possible in a little community like fibs,handle in a gentle ,friendly human kind to each other.
And its sooooo easy,Just have a smile, just respekt the views of the other,like you want, the other respect yours.
In all the Time i play on Fibs i allways was friendly and gentle to all,no one can seriuosly say he hear one bad word from me.
So i want say GOOD BYE in a friendly art .

Hard to find a flaw in Wingtsun's letter. Don't be racist, respect the views of others, be friendly, smile. It's sad that people who feel that way get driven out by the disgusting drivel of a very small minority. All that is necessary for evil to succeed is for good people to do nothing. Why do we have a community where gentle, courteous and positive people leave, revolted by the brutal, rude and negative people who dominate the shouts? What sort of fibs do we really want?
I played Wingtsun in a postcard tournament, a pleasant opponent and I still have the card he sent me on my desk. It was a small moment of friendship that I value. I hope you change your mind and stay Wingtsun. We need more like you.

Hard to see you leave Wingtsun!
We had a good time running the tourney, although there were couple of people not being too nice.
I often turn off the shouts at all. So i dont get the sh** shouted.
But i miss the nice hellos in the shouts too :-(
While playing friends and new people on fibs most of the time it is a pleasure here.
you can always come back if you need some dancing ;-)

Wingtsun......I have played you several times and always found you a delight to play and chat with.  I share you views  with the challanges we face in this world.
I do not share your solution to them.

Dorbel's direction of  the greater good  overcoming  a louder evil is quite apt when it comes to the challange FIBS presents to all that enter here to enjoy,  relax and laugh at the game itself and the silliness an open forum creates...simple crudity and sophisticated kindness can coexist here I think..this is a magic of FIBs..and this community.

MND's suggestion of java gag is a great one... I know I use it when necessary..

I hope you have a change of heart and stay with this community.  If you leave I will miss you....

Okay, I'm confused. There are some nasty folks on fibs, but racism is not something I see a lot of in the shouts. And stupid? No, wingnut, these boys aren't stupid. Bored, lonely, and poisoned by testosterone, maybe, but not stupid. Thicken your skin, hide your goats, and wise up.

It seems to me, that if the weak-minded among the fibs population choose to leave, then the overall strength of the fibs collective increases. Perhaps this is why fibs has endured so long on the internet?

Actually Fek, there used to be a lot more racism on FIBS.  I got on the bad sides of a couple of the routine racists on FIBS years ago and I'm still getting fallout from the jerks.  Players like DrMengele and Rabbi_Eichmann proceded to clone IDs spoofing my name, and NIHILIST started a very sick thread on rec.games.backgammon impersonating me, as well as faking my ID on another backgammon server and slandering me (with the aid of Honeygirl).

Wingstun is just one more user to be driven away by these jerks, and driven away becase we tolerate the sick, crude few who take sick pleasure in doing so.
