One Christmas Eve, three men showed up at Saint Peter's gate.  Peter said to the three men, "In honor of the occasion I am going to forego the usual tests and ask each of you to show me something from your lives that shows the Christmas spirit."

The first man dug through his pockets and pulled out a Bic lighter, which he lit.  "What's this?" asked Peter.  "It symbolizes a Christmas candle," said the man.  "You're in," said Pete.



The second man pulled his keys out of his pocket and shook them.  "Jingle bells?  You're in," said St. Pete.



The third man pulled out a pair of women's panties.  "I can't wait to know the symbolism," said the Saint....

The third man said, "They're Carol's".

I've received several comments from FIBSters about my little story and the main question that is raised is, did the third man enter heaven?

The symbology of the flame and the keys is obvious.  What about the mundane as expressed in the offering of the third man?
