Title: Web Applet Question
Post by: deuce on July 28, 2004, 07:29:13 PM
Hi:

My office recently installed new computers, on which program installs are Adminisrator-only, so when I play there, I have to used a web-based interface.

I much prefer the JavaFibs Applet to ParlorPlay.

But, for some reason "gag" doesn't work.

As is sadly the case with many folks on FIBS, there are certain voices on shout that I would dearly love never to hear again.  Because they pretty much ruin what is normally a pleasant and friendly experience.

 You know who you are.

 Anyhow, any help greatly appreciated.

Use the gag option from the popup menu that you get when clicking on a player. That should do the trick.

Considering my many years on FIBS, I don't undertake this lightly, so inability to ungag bothers me not.

From a programming standpoint, I understand why you'd want to enhance the functionality.

Personally, I don't give a sh**.  Anyone I gag, I want permagagged.

Thanks for your work, and your gift to us.   I wouldn't be on FIBS without JAVAFibs, at this point, and I am very grateful for that.
