Is there any way you can speed up a mobile phone connection?? Stuck with it at home for the next year. Vodafone, Spain

Soak the phone in boiling water for 15 minutes, that should do the trick...

You gave very little informations.
What kind of phone you have? Do you use / has your phone GPRS, Edge, UMTS or HSPDA?

In any case, try to get the fastest mobile connection you can get and if you already have HSPDA you can either wait for LTE or you're out of luck ;)

There's no way to speed up FIBS' responses to you which are in raw text. All you can do is make sure your connection is as fast as possible, as Frank suggests.

You'd have much more fun at FIBS playing on a PC or mac and it's far easier to find an opponent.
