Title: GnuBG cheats on forfeit!
Post by: RocketSurgeon on January 26, 2010, 10:31:57 PM
ARGH! Why, oh why is it that when GnuBG forfeits from a backgammoned position (or any position), it only gives up ONE point, but whenever the human forfeits, they forfeit the appropriate number of points for their position? Seems to me this is a serious flaw...

There is no such error in GnuBG. Can you show the position where gnu makes wrong forfeit?

If it is a 1-point match, it doesn't matter if you win a single, gammon or backgammon.

The same is correct for any end of the match situation where single is enough for match victory. It's irrelevant by how much you win the match.

If it is money game with Jacoby rule, you can't win gammon unless you have doubled.

are you referring perhaps to one of the bots that plays on the fibs server (not gnubg)?
