BTW, one of my pet projects is mobilising lots of "white hat" leet hackers to join an organisation, most probably a foundation, that conducts socalled "security-audits" for major corporations and/or not quite so big businesses, since most multinationals employ their own hackers to secure their network. In other words, legal hacking .... the multinationals and other corporations will in their turn offer job opportunities, training period places with the prospect of future high-end job opportunities, will finance further IT-training etc.
The advantage to corporate America and the rest of the world is obvious, it keeps them "off the street", channels their curiosity and hard acquired skillz because corporate financial damages because of cybercrime amount to many millions of dollars a year. Bottomline, it is even financially sound and wise.
All of this in cooporation with the DHS (Department of Homeland Security), that's right, Tom Ridge's outfit ....... in the age of information, information is the ultimate commodity, and therefore a much wanted form of power..

There are still openings for IT-wizards/nerds, l33t hackers, managerial personal etc.

Re      Fe - line.


This is actually a good choice of name operating on , potentially , four levels:

Simple : Repetition of "Phi"

Base : the behaviour of cats (intelligent / sneaky etc)

Mathematical : Phi is generally used to mean the entire surrounding state in which an equation applies - line could therefore be a direction to take to enter this state? This leads directly to perhaps the most interesting "pun" and a potential logo for your co. XXX (c. spielberg (2004))

Visual : Phi , in capital form , is generally represented by a circle with a vertical line thru' it . Changing this line to reflect the "line" in co. name one ends with - an arrow in a target ? , a dartboard? How 'bout cats throwing darts?

I.   Feline being catlike .... that was easy (one of my catz is called "Feline", a very
    wild but once tame stray cat, I adopted from the urban jungle. She immediately
    became the new alpha cat ... under me of course)

II.  Fe-line possibly meaning (in the context of it's core business) "Fast Ethernet line"

III. Fe-line being short for "Santa Fe line" ... a historical streetcar line, newly restored
    along the waterfront from the FErry Building to Fisherman's Wharf, San Fransico.
    With a little poetic freedom signifying the connection (by oceans) between the US
    and Europe.

VI. Lastly and not the most unimportant aspect, Fe being the symbol for iron, meaning
    I would rule this company with an "iron fist", of course with a velvet glove, don't
    worry ;-)))))

I still need a good XO on this, soon to be "baptised" [with loads of bubbly of course ;-)] ship, because I so like to delegate the everyday running of these particular dreadnoughts since I much prefer to keep the oversight ....... hey, a good admiral has several battlegroups to coordinate, from the celestial heavens.
I will however, come down to earth, on the wings of my flagship, the "phoenix" (symbol of eternity and also for scorpio, the most important influence in my horoscope; Astrology lovers check out: MC (medium coeli or midheaven point) conjunct Pluto conjunct Regulus in Leo. Regulus, the socalled King's star, not just any fixed star but a fixed star of which mystics "suspect" it is the original sun (star) of this universe), from time to time, except for the startup phase. ;-))

There are other companies that do this, but none with my contacts. I also don't plan to compete (long road and costly) but to cooperate with them (read: gradually assimilate) Here's were the foundation comes in .... it divides the work, coordinates between hackers (sponsored IT-courses, training period places) and multinationals (security audits, their chance at first pick from the creme de la creme of leet IT talent). Fe-line will be close to the fire, don't worry ;-)


Let's talk shop .... how much would you like to make and if we agree I'll up it by 25 % but will ask for a 200 % effort. The other 75 %  increase (100 % increase in total, fair is fair, 200 % effort deserves a 200 % reward) in pay and/or other "fringe benefits", such as stock options, AFTER proven succes in making the targets (overkill allowed), might be feasible in less than 5 years. (one year ?, I do like my (brain)children to make a comet-like entrance like their old man is used to, but with a small but significant course correction to remain in orbit untill further notice)

AGAIN ... getting mighty booooring, no real opposition at FIBS  ....... ah yes, my last opponent "sanjay" was 2-1 behind in a 3 pts match, cube on 2, gammon for me unavoidable, the man had been so fuc..' lucky, you won't believe, untill his luck ran out and my skillz and patience finally paid off ... score of 6-1 imminent.
Just before the slaughter I suggested to him he could always drop .... since his luck seemed to have run out ... hehehehe ... he DID.
How typical of the level of play here ..... no character, no skillz ..... that goes for most of you here, no exceptions this time .... I'm outta here ....

Pathetic, pityfull ........ really no words left to describe the bottom of the barrel that is called FIBS ....... I will just move on ...... and find some REAL players.
