FIBS Board backgammon forum

This was the oldest one I could find, but I'm sure there might be older ones around somewhere.
This covers the period from October 26, 1997 to November 19, 1997.

Just as I suspected, there are earlier FIBS Rating Reports out there.

If you search Google groups for rec.games.backgammon and then search for FIBS Rating Reports you'll find them.

For those interested in the history of FIBS, who's still here and who's gone.

This is from 17 Sep-1 Oct 1994:

Saw burper and don on this one above.

This from 6 Aug - 20 Aug 1994 was earliest rating reports I found:

From 15 Sep 1993 requesting info on rating system:

I found gargoyle on one of the 1995 ones.  Was that you, Maria?  Thanks!  That was fun!

OK, after page 61, I tired of trying to find anything before 1993!

I was able to determine just when I FIRST started on FIBS.
I always thought it was the end of 1994, but my very first FIBS name of Sweet_Jane was on the Ratings Report for the time period March 24 - April 8, 1995.

cool .. i'd love to see when old sixty_something started and what sort of ratings and experience history is out there .. i'll look into that when i have more time

is the approach the same for 2005 onward?

I'm not sure when the FIBS Rating Reports stopped being published.
From what I can tell, this was the last one back in 2004:
